AdVenture voyage
Date:March 26,27,28,29,2010 for first batch, April 30-May 3 for 2nd batch and June 11-14,2010 for 3 rd batch
So much happened at Caramoan peninsula after the French, Bulgaria, Israel and Serbia Survivor reality series which was held at the said place last summer 2008-2009..The hidden beautiful place which was hidden and only for backpackers destinations for a long time becomes now so popular to the world. .The young, energetic, dynamic Hon.Gov. L-Ray Villafuerte developed Caramoan as prime Eco Tourism destination in Camarines Sur. He established world class resort in Gota which is now attracting a lot of tourist all over the world. He revolutionalized the Tourism by making Cam Sur as the number 1 tourist destination in Bikol.CWC(Camarines Sur Wakeboarding Center) as the number 1, Caramoan as the 2nd place and 3rd is the Donsol Whale Shark interaction as the 3rd place (according to Department of Tourism data of influx of domestic and foreign tourist in the Bikol region. Anywhy,Caramoan peninsula still retained its adventure, backpacking and outdoor appeal
because of the environmental efforts
of the Governor L-Ray Villafuerte to regulate, preserve and conserve the natural beauty of the place. It did not turn into Boracay type atmosphere which more of the conservationist and environmentalists concerns…Caramoan peninsula is still hidden, far and still unexplored and mysterious as it used to be.
Kadlagan Outdoor Shop and Services is one of the pioneer explorers and organized package adventure tour in caramoan since 1995.is organizing Baklay sa Caramoan since it started on 1998 and becomes a yearly adventure event.
It s summer time, time to relax, rejuvenate, heal ourselves and escape the hot, cramming city life.Time to be slow and go back again to the outdoor. Time to go to places where we will experience nature again to at its best. Sleep at the sand along the beach under the stars, see shells, star fish or any creatures of the sea, smell the pure air sea breeze, Where There are no signals in cellphones from time to time but sometimes already in specified location you just have to find it. Sometimes it is in the middle of the sea .no gadgets, no national news, no so much people and little traces of civilizations. Simply a paradise! If you want to go to Caramoan and experience its nature to the maximum, be filled with adventure such as camping, hiking, island hopping, snorkeling, etc.See almost all the beautiful islands and forget for everything about your life and just be with nature because we are going to CIRCUMNAVIGATE the whole peninsula for 4 days by big
boat,. then this event is for you.
In this connection,The Kadlagan Outdoor Shop, the doorway to Bikol Mountains and scenic places is initiating again…….

Secret Island Resort in Caramoan
August 19, 2009Try our new package.Kadlagan tour new caramoan route.
The Tahub (hidden) beach resort island. It is located at the coastal of Caramoan. A white sand cove with coconut trees. The area is still very isolated so it is very seldom reach by the tourists.
The sea at the beach is full of marine life such as fish, live corals, starfish, etc.which is very good for snorkeling and fishing. The resort’s back is a nipa and mangroove swamp forest which houses crabs which can be spotted by lights roving the beach during dark nights. The mangroves trees are full of fireflies at night so firefly watching is a must at night or just simply strolling at the beach during full moon or dark moon which millions of stars above you in a clear night sky can make you full of wonders and excitement.
Since its opening last may,2009 up to the present, we brought pioneering groups to the island and all of them were simply amazed of the place.
The difference of this resort with the other resorts in caramoan is the nature itself and the exclusivity of the guests. The island is yours alone or with your group alone once you are booked with us. You can swim at the beach, stroll, or just simply relax, rejuvenate, or smell the pure, fresh air.
During the night socials,You can also sing your heart out loud till you drop at their videoke without thinking of the other guests sleeping or disturbing them with your singing because the night is your group’s alone.
Another is the location. Most of the hotels are located at the town which is a 15 minutes rides by jeep or tricycle from the port and 15 minutes ride again by jeep or tricycle to the coastal so you need to hurry going back to the town after island hopping before dawn and stay at the hotels at the town during the night.
But at the resort island, no need to worry, you are at the beach resort even at night.
Your meals at night and lunch is fresh seafoods such as fish, squids or crabs which are freshly catch at the sea. It can be served grill ,fried or juice it with coconut milk(gata).
The island resort also will give you tremendous serenity, tranquility and peace that the only noise you can hear are the chirping of the birds, sometimes cicadas or splashing of the waves which you will be persuade to do meditation or reflection.
So, If you want to go back at nature and experience it at most, the island resort is your choice. It s simply a paradise by itself.
If you are interested to be at the Paradise, just contact us and we will bring you there.
But because of the distance of the place, we require at least 10 to 20 pax per guests at the given or schedule date at the island resort for 2 days and 3 days package.Booking is per group only for every package date at a time to give every group an exclusivity to experience the island resort in their own.
See you and thanks for letting us be of service to you.

Sakatt kan mga Urastigon
Date January 24-25, 2009
by Elma Padua and Ivan Rivera
We assembled at the Naga City CBD Terminal at around 6:00 am. There were six us: Ted Ruiz, a 56-year-old American missionary who could speak Tagalog and few Bicolano phrases. Boyet and Patrick, both long time mountaineer from Manila; Jojo Villareal, the climb organizer; and Elma Padua the lone female climber. We were supposed to be joined by another female but unfortunately unexpected events came up.
We boarded a bus to Iriga City then transferred to a jeepney to Buhi Municipal Hall. We spent a few minutes buying additional supplies in the wet market and took some pictures of the lake. Finally we boarded a tricycle to our jump-off point at Barangay Cabatuan. When Boyet and Patrick were checking their packs they found out that the first aid pack was missing so they went back to the town proper and luckily found it hanging on the Municipal Hall’s fence.
The hike was as “U trek” because of the shape of terrain. We took our lunch while on the trail nearby a spring faucet. As we moved on we felt our back pack getting heavier every step. Yet, when we were at a certain altitude we were rewarded with awesome view of the lake, the town against the background of lush mountain greens. The rain started to fall as we moved closer to our base camp. We decided to take a shelter in an unfinished chapel. When the rain stopped we continued our hike until we reached Camp Esplana, our base camp, at past 4PM.
At the base camp we hurriedly set up the tent because the rain was starting to fall again. Luckily there was an abandoned house nearby which we used as a place for cooking our food and socials at night. Evidently, the house caused us discomfort because of the stench goat droppings but our nose got used to it. While taking our dinner each talked about their climbing experiences and some information about themselves. After the dinner and socials we checked our tent and it was good and up but the groundsheet was soaking wet from heavy downpour. We decide to sleep in the abandoned house instead. We fixed our bedding yet it was difficult to sleep because the dogs and goats were trying take shelter with us plus the sound of the animals and the howling of the wind.
Early next morning we prepared our breakfast and suit up for the climb. The plan was to climb the peak of Mt Asog but our guides led us to the rim of the volcano crater. Mt. Asog is a dormant volcano. We went through the ridges hidden under trees and bushes and tall grasses. From the rim, we saw the bottom of the crater which was full of pine trees and dense vegetation. We spent few minutes taking pictures. There was no trail that led us to the peak from the crater so we went back to the base camp. It took less than an hour to go up to the crater and back down.
The ascent to the peak was difficult. We did not find the established trail instead created our own trail. We walked, climbed and crawled through the thick sharp blade of cogon grasses. The ascent was almost risky because of the terribly steep terrain. Later we faced a dead end, a vertical wall very close to the ridge and decided to settle there. From there we enjoyed the view and savor the moment. After few minutes, we slid down. The descent was easy and fun. We took our lunch in the base camp and packed up. From the base camp hiked down to Barangay Santiago then took a ride on a tricycle to Iriga City.
Caramoan Tour Packages
February 3, 2009 Updated Caramoan Tour Packages
So much happened at Caramoan peninsula after the French Survivor reality series which was held at the said place last summer 2008..The hidden beautiful place which was hidden and only for backpackers destinations for a long time ago becomes now so popular to the world. The young, energetic, dynamic Hon.Gov. L-Ray Villafuerte developed Caramoan as prime Eco Tourism destination in Camarines Sur. He established world class resort in Gota which is now attracting a lot of tourist all over the world. He revolutionalized the Tourism by making Cam Sur as the number 1 tourist destination in Bikol. CWC(Camarines Sur Wakeboarding Center) as the number 1, Caramoan as the 2nd place and 3rd is the Donsol Whale Shark interaction as the 3rd place (according to Deparetment of Tourism data of influx of domestic and foreign tourist in the Bikol region. Anywhy,Caramoan peninsula still retained its adventure, backpacking and outdoor appeal because of the environmental
efforts of the Governor L-Ray Villafuerte to regulate, preserve and conserve the natural beauty of the place. It did not turn into Boracay type atmosphere which more of the conservationis and environmentalists concerns…Caramoan peninsula is still hidden, far and still unexplored and mysterious as it used to be.

Kadlagan-TUKAD KAN MGA ORAGGON sa MT.ISAROG. SEPT.27-28,2008
September 15, 2008
Mt. Isarog in the province of Camarines Sur is highest forested mountain of southern Luzon, rising 1,966 meters above sea level. Known to be an inactive volcano. Once you get to one of its summit, you will be rewarded with a view of other Bikol volcanoes like Mt. Mayon. It is a home to many endangered plants, birds and animals that can only be found in the South Luzon region. The Southern Luzon cloud rat is native to Mt. Isarog and the largest flower in the world known as Rafflesia.
Pitcher plants and wild orchids are abundant in higher elevation of the mountain. Wild boars, monkeys, wildcats and numerous species of lizards are still numerous in the parks. It has numerous streams and rivers that waters the numerous waterfalls. There are famous water falls like Malabsay, Nabuntulan, and Falls within Consocep Mountain Resort. Plenty awaits to be discovered. Mt. Isarog is now a protected area with strict regulations for appropriate management and preservation of its rich and diverse plants and ecosystem.
For 11 years from its opening, Kadlagan organized 1 to 2 climb annually through the Patag-patag trail. It remain as dense, clean and the only dirt that can be found along the trail are the leftovers or wastes of monkeys and wild boars. The scavenging wild boars are the ones who are erasing the trail. Typhoon Reming of 2006 destroyed most of the habitat(trees)at the said trail. Nevertheless, Mt. Isarog throught Patag-patag trail is still one of the major climb destination of Bikol of the Mountaineers. Kadlagan staff bring them to the peak of Mt. Isarog successfully, satisfied, safe and happy.
